Memories of 2019 Christmas Dinner still linger
The 2019 Cepranese Club of Detroit annual Christmas dinner was the hit of the season last year,
bringing together more than 200 family and friends to celebrate the holiday season. Held at Troy’s
San Marino hall on December 14, the bash featured a fabulous sit-down dinner, an open bar and a
record amount of raffle prizes. Plans were underway for this year's dinner until the coronavirus hit.
Stay tuned for next year's festivities!

“Chi trova amico, trova un tesoro.”
“Who finds a friend, finds a treasure.”
Italian Proverb
For more than 75 years the Cepranese Club of Detroit has lived up to those words, creating camaraderie and bonds that have lasted decades.
At the same time it’s celebrated the heritage, the history and the ties it has with the Italian city for which the club is named - Ceprano, Italy. A social-fraternal organization, the Cepranese Club’s 140 members are made up of immigrants from Ceprano or descendents of those individuals.
From bocce ball tournaments to golf outings and summer family picnics to sumptuous Christmas dinner dances, Cepranese Club members know how to have fun. But more important, they know how to combine good times with a good cause. In the past, the club has donated funds to:
- Earthquake victims in Italy
- Disabled American war veterans
- the American Leukemia Society
